Mollie Jane is a unique vocalist and songwriter, blending jazz, folk and soul into a lysergic tapestry of deeply emotive music. The Los Angeles native singer/songwriter leads an audience with a smokey, grit and a sincere soul. Any moment of song is a moment of truth for Jane and her presence is contagious, heartbreaking, and soul enriching.
In 2016, Mollie Jane took three of her songs to Seaward Studios in North Hollywood and co-produced her first EP, 3. “[3 is] a breath of fresh air, a forward thinking reaction to an often overly nostalgic attitude” wrote AnR Factory following the EP’s release.
The same band that brought Jane’s first solo project to life followed her into 2017, forming the punchy, fervent timbre of her full band project, Milk. Come 2018, Jane’s studio work expanded to the legendary Capitol Records in Studio B where her and Milk. produced a six song self-titled album, later released at Redgate Recorders in Eagle Rock, CA in April 2019. Mollie Jane has collaborated with several well renowned music series such as Los Angeles based Lilac Sessions, three nation wide tours with Sofar Sounds and has lent her vocal talents to some of LA's best up and coming artists. With her dynamic and enrapturing vocal presence and continuing devotion to serving a song, Mollie Jane is at the perfect moment to tackle the next stage of her eclectic artistic journey in the new decade.
